Maureen is ojibwe and was born in Midland. Her relatives are from Batchewana and Garden River near Sault Ste Marie. She is a member of Batchewana First Nation. She has lived in Katarokwi for 30 years.

Kaitlyn Patterson

Kwey, Kaitlyn nindizhinikaaz. Maang nidoodem. Mattawa nindonjibaa. Elgin endaayaan. Kaitlyn is mixed-ancestry Algonquin from the Loon Clan. Her Algonquin Ancestors are from Mattawa, Ontario, and she has lived in Katarokwi for most of her life. 

Sheldon Traviss

Sheldon Traviss is a local Indigenous Artist who lives in Katarokwi and traces their ancestry to the Six Nations Community near Brantford.

Shawn Melnyk

Shawn is of Métis heritage originally born in southern Saskatchewan. Currently residing in Kingston, Ontario, Shawn continues to expand his understanding of Indigenous culture and practices through land based learning and taking part in ceremony.

Shelagh McGuinty

Shelagh is a mixed ancestry Anishinaabekwe raised in Katarokwi, who now lives and grows food by ziibi Clyde.
